Need opinions on wheel choice for the turbo mx5

Alright so I'm fed up of running fake wheels and am saving up for SSR Watanabe's and flares. This will take me all summer to save up for, In the meantime I need to decide to keep my XXR 531's on the car or to put on a set of Bassett wheels. Bassett wheels new will cost 350$, which is less than I could sell my XXR's for.

Specs are:

XXR:

15x8 +20(I have room to run 10 offset without re-rolling, the wheels are slightly sunk in the fenders)

or the Bassett Wheels which are 15x7 with 0 offset, so the stance and poke will be more aggressive, but an inch less wide.

So I'm really struggling on which to run, I'd love some input from you guys.

i always like steelies but the ccw reps look good. id go with the steelies.

keep the xxr and save your money, just my opinion though

well I always love the red and black look and you can't really go wrong with steelies. I'd say get the Bassetts, sell the XXRs and put whatever money you have left over from selling them toward the SSR fund.

Yeah I think that I might do that.

Paint the Bassets white and sell those god awful CCW reps. I don't understand the reasoning for fake splits, the bolts on the wheels aren't for looks, they serve a purpose. That's just as bad as someone running a front mount without the piping connected.

If I had an NA miata, I would go with OEM new model prius wheels with 185/50/15's, yellow lettering on the tires and adapters. People need to start being original. Sometimes the classic and proven route is the proper way to go, but when it's been done the world over, it's time to change it up.
Plus, prius wheels look dope with or without the covers

Thanks for the input guys, i've made up my mind! Stock would cost more than bassetts, got a brand new set for 350$ and i have tires to run already. Goodbye xxr's hello beautiful:
