  • Havent posted any updated pics in a while. Here goes nothing....The bagged malibu.

Props to my buddy Josh Weiss for the shots (@joshweiss on IG)....I recently did some stuff to get it a bit lower, got a new front lip (Thank goodness), and some yellow letters on the tires. I got more planned but as we all know that takes some $$$. I'd like to go with black lips on the rims. I'm starting to really dig the understated sporty look. Yes, I plan on getting legit real wheels in time too, but that's gonna take a hot minute. lol... As you can see @lowerstandards sent me some free goodies including that sweet banner up front. If y'all are interested in following me or my crew the instagram accounts are @_the_jare_bear (personal) and @hyperlowmafia (the crew). Thanks for looking!

            This is pretty sweet.

Anyway you can get the front down 1/2'' ?
Or maybe even a size bigger.
            I dislike Byron.

Absolutely love it. All these good looking modern american cars are slowly making me want to stop buying German... They must be doing something right.

I really like it. Like said above, if you can get to tuck tire in the front like in the back, it'll be awesome.

Trust me guys I'm right there with you but I'm so conflicted on how to solve it! Its maxed out up front (struts fully collapsed). I even had to cut off the sway bar mounts and take that bitch out to get it as low as it is now.... The car literally has fenders cut two inches higher in front...you can look at my first picture of the 3/4" view of the car and blatantly see how much bigger the front fenders are opened in comparison to the rear, because its perfectly level when aired out.... I could go on 20's and I'm thinking about it but im so hesitant of having to run a stretched 30 series tire. Rubberbands!!! I could also cut and sleeve the strut towers but thats a sketchy modification in my opinon. lol. Idk what to do! Thats part of the reason why I want black rims so it's not so obvious.

Raise the lower strut mounts and re-weld them?

Thats the exact mod I was just referring to being sketchy....I dont know anyone around here I'd trust to do that properly.

actually doing some calculations right now. I'm currently 19x8.5 +10 and 19x9.5 +8....

I'm going to strive for x 9.5 +14ish and x 10.5 +18ish next time around....Just trying to decide what diameter...I might go 20" to get the front "lower" to the eye. As i stated before though I'm not really digging the idea of 30 series tires....but I may have to.
