Seriously impressed with the interior work.
Why are the front passenger seat controls in the rear door pocket? I asked this question on another thread but it didn't make sense to me. Unless I'm being stupid.

The Cardan, the M5 differential lock, and the M5 driveshafts I have built with the same.
Pedals, clutch master and shift linkage you need too.
You have to bypass the relay for automatic start and still draw a wire from the ignition switch to the EWS.
Then re-encode the cart and everything has been running. The encoding is the simplest!
Do you have instructions on how you coded the car as that is the toughest part for me.

This was the first Touring I built. Nothing special - Replica front bumper + 19' Style 65s.
This is the one I am working on now. This is it when I first got it:
This is how much I have done to it and what it looks like at the moment:

Please pictures of your 540i, especially inside!
You have inspired me with my build project. I have a 2003 540iT that I am slowly modifying and like all the stuff you have done to your touring.
I have 19' Style 65's on it at the moment and I have actually the E38 Contour seats with Vanity mirrors on it.
Would you be able to share some details on some of the customization you did like the 6 - speed transmission. I have all the parts from an M5, but I am not sure about wiring and programming because here we cannot have the SES light on.
I will post pictures of my car when I can.... I can't I think because I am a new member.

Really nice.
One thing though, this gear stick is really too long IMO.
Good on you for attempting and completing this project!
