This is super sexy, makes me regret selling my Jet black E39.
It seems like he's moving the controls for the rear seat to a more accessible spot, versus where they would be in a E38.Originally posted by Coops90 View PostThis is properly amazing!
Only think I don't like is front splitter.
And I don't quite understand the controls for the front passenger seat being in the rear? Unless I've read it wrong.

Thanks for the good feedback!
Today, the harness was done for the back seat. The new seat heating mats have been used these have 120Watt, so the cable had to be replaced and re-wired for the new switch.

But the rear seat controls are on the base of the rear seat by the looks of it? I need to know this, I'm losing sleep over it.Originally posted by mike-81-240d View Post

The switch in the back seat, are for the back seat!
The switch in the door are for the front passenger seat. In the E38 are these switches in the armrest. In the armrest I find it bad, so in the door!

The idea with the rear mounted controls for the front passenger seat are pretty simple. The guy who makes the most money sits in the back. So he has controls over the front seat to make himself more comfortable as he stretches out in the back and you lick the windscreen...Originally posted by Coops90 View PostBut the rear seat controls are on the base of the rear seat by the looks of it? It's a E38 thing, but a retrofit done in this case in the E39. Makes more sense in the E39 due to the shorter wheelbase IMO.
