  • Busy day at Mpower5266's Casa De Bimmer, e24 content.

So my buddy Cj (theseaker411/Former owner of Ratty e28) has had his e24 L6 project at the house. We have fixed little stuff like a shifter bushing and fixed the gauge cluster, but today we got to do something fun.

This is what we started with today.

After about an hour and a half or so, we are at drag race status.

Then I had to put Cj to work. The top shock bolts are a pain to get to in the rear.

After about another hour. Shes done.

The springs still need to settle and I need to finish the style 5s so he can ditch the balloon tires. But all and all I think she came out pretty nice.

Those might be the ugliest wheels bmw ever made. Cannot wait to see the end product tho.

^ They were like 50 bucks or something just so we could move the car while I am refurbing the 5s.

Forget about bad roads, forget about speedbumps, go as low as you can, 'cause low is a lifestyle!

Big improvement. Agreed about the current wheels. Glad to hear Style5s are in the works.

                          Koni shocks and spax springs.

It actually is comfortable in the trunk, believe it or not. Way less of a pain in the ass than removing the rear seat and trying to get to the access panel.

Tires are gonna be Yoko Prada Spec 2 205/40/17s.

Still have to get the airdam, a/c, and power seats fixed, and the M5 swaybars on, but it's coming along.
