Those wheels were never going to be on the car, unless a miracle happened and they looked good. The offset wouldnt have worked. Just needed something really cheap to test out a 15 on it. Im sure there are hundreds of 15" wheels that could look good on it, but im just happy with what I have now.
I'll be perfectly honest, I'm not really feeling those wheels. They're just not my style personally, but I think a different set of polished wheels could look really good. It still looks good though because I fucking love this car regardless

At first I wasnt sure if id like them, but after a day with them, im really happy I have them. Its difficult to find wheels for these cars that havent been done to death, too sporty, or too modern looking (especially on a budget). Ive always been aiming for a classy/tough looking car. Its hard to tell in the photos because of the treatment I put on them, but they are actually chrome, so they go well with the chrome trim and bumpers. I still have my steelies to change it up whenever. Thanks for loving the car man. You know I dig that 02!
The Chrysler wheels really give the car a Rolls Royce resemblance. I am kinda digging it, but I'd go with a lower profile tire up front for sure. That front end is hangin up real high.

Still love it
Its funny, these bumpers really throw the height off. Maybe its hard to tell in those photos, but the front is actually about 1/2" lower than the rear (measuring body to ground just behind the front wheel and in front of the rear wheel). Sometimes I think about running about a 3 inch black air dam under and behind the front bumper to get the front down visually, but it would probably throw off the look.
Im running 50 series tires on the chrysler wheels (because thats what I had basically), but I got new 205/45's for the steelies. Here's a pic from the Good Guys show yesterday with the steelies back on. They do lower the car a little bit. I actually tried 40's on there and it was just about on the ground so I was tempted to leave them, but they didnt look right for this car.
The volvo kind of fit in with this crowd and it kind of didnt, but it was cool checking everything out. Thousands of cars (mostly domestic of course). Rust bucket hot rods to $500k show cars. They had a decent autocross track set up too. Also it was breezy and 73 degrees here in Phoenix
I may try some more here and there to see what I can get away with. I know what I can do to get the back a half inch lower, but the front will need some thinking and definitely more cutting.
Thanks guys! So im running the steelies with a trim ring now. 300C wheels are gone.
Really not sure why I started this thread in the Showroom lol. I have a build thread going. Not really building much though. Just tweaking things really. Kinda feel like I can enjoy it now and not always be thinking of the next 10 things I have to do to it haha. Its not really going to look any different from now on. I guess I am starting on my trunk set up this week though, so i'll throw some updates in there.
