Just found this on Instagram, wish it was in better quality. I love this shot of a chance encounter with the IR E46 M3 on the interstate. Gotta love H2Oi weekend, there were so many run-ins with people hours and hours after leaving OC.

Pretty much the latter. Thousands of cars, and many of them done extremely well.

Its the annual meet in sept for VW/audi aircooled/water cooled & in the show portion (which to my understanding minimal people attend) & yes take over the strip for good times. Show up, its great. And OP you had really good photos, you even got "fitted_fit" (a member here) with the "best e30 in your opinion" 's picture here.
