I never found out the specifics, but yes, see the pic of the pipes in the rear and the 'Peterbilt' plaque on the right side of the dash

This thread is so full of win, I don't even know where to start. Aircooleds, Mk1's, rat rods, BMWs, exotics... I'll take it all please! And I love that diesel truck to death.

heh, there we go. Thanks Mike.

I'll definitely be there next year, hopefully with a more radical setup on one of my cars. I went all by myself and chatted with some cool people this year. Great show and it was really a pleasure to be there.

really stoked on the response, just as in here, it was a fresh look at a show trying to bring all facets of the culture to one venue. we knew it would be tough, with Wings and Wheels, Proving grounds, Cars and Coffee, and another MSRA street drag event up near Duluth? we weren't sure what to expect, but as we all see turn out was pretty damn good for the limited time frame we had to work with. we just knew we needed to use that date for some in the euro community that had already planned ahead for the trip up. so with a years planning, and a much better date choice, we hope to create something pretty damn cool.

well thank you, we plan to continue to use it. the Commemorative Air Force staff loved the event, and want us back. as well, the manager of the airport loved it too, and wants to do all he can to work on the next one being that much better, and maybe even incorporating more planes into the event as well. and who knows, maybe even radar runs if we play the cards right, and plan accordingly

Nope, skulls, bones, and spiders is not a rat rod. Nor when you put the rat rod sign on it does it make it rat. The truck next to it has more rat rod character. That is just a power mobile

you really even want to start that argument? its like beating a dead, and long ago incinerated horse. ten different people will give you ten different definitions? its the one automotive culture that has yet to have some clearly defined rules as to what is and isn't a rat rod. so what might not qualify to you, can be more then enough to qualify for another. get over it. its just a label. people focus to much on the "label", and let the work and cars fall to the wayside.

Old coupe with chopped top, tons of rust and custom work, super slammed, big power, unique morbid character, I dunno man. You'll lose that argument pretty fast.

And no, that was not me egging you on to keep trying to prove your point. Please don't do that.
