This NA looks really nice, I appreciate it even more since I'm in the market for one and I know first hand how hard it is to find such a pristine miata.
However the above post infuriates me a tad.
I thought the whole point of modifying a car is to do it yourself, wrench away every evening and weekend in the garage/parking lot/side of the road with passion and enthusiasm, not to show off the grocery list.
More than half of that "custom" interior could have been fabricated quite easily. Even if it comes out with a little flaw, I think you would be way more satisfied with the job than transfering your paycheck to an on-line parts seller ever now and then and bolting in their products.
TLDR: I'm upset nowadays modding cars comes to who has the deeper pocket and not to spending time sweat and tears on actually working on your car.

I was thinking into the same direction but I do honor the research that was necessary to complete this interior. Also all the parts are tastefull, it's not just money dumped into the most expensive parts.

This comes off as extreme jealousy. Who cares if he spent a lot of money to buy his interior parts? Do you think people who pay $1500 for an exhaust are lame becuase they didnt weld up their own? In all honesty the guy started with a $5k dollar car and added a bunch of super tasteful mods. Instead of buying a $20k car, he bought a cheaper one and used the rest of the money to build something to his tatste that he's passionate about. And on top of that, yea deeper pockets build cooler cars when given the same amount of skill/taste/style....get over it.
Thanks guys. I definitely don't have the skill nor the time to make or build up these parts. I put them all in but anybody can do that.
I wanted some good quality parts and i definitely wouldn't of been able to come close to making any of these parts. Thats why there are shops that make these things for people like me lol.
fuck that, you do it right the first time instead of fabbing up some mediocre shit! you dont need to justify anything you do with your own money to people, especially on the internet. the bottom line is, you chose specific pieces to go together and they work out great.
