  • E90 | HRE 441r | Chubby

So been a while since I posted my car, might as well whore it out while I can. Will be getting some pro pics because my Canon is down at the time being D:

Sat like this for a while with the Shelby Wheels, Hartge lip.

So the Shelby wheels cracked (both of the rears), and then I just lost interest in the car since it was nearing 100k miles, and I had a shit ton of maintenance to do. So there was a long hiatus where it just sat, and at times I would drive it around like this...for a VERY long time. No a/c, locks on doors were effed, and coilovers are old as hell (2nd owner, atleast 80-90k miles on them). So not a very pleasant ride. Oh yea bought the M3 rep bumper because my stock bumper got repainted so many times, I just got tired of it, and the Hartge lip broke into 3 pieces.

So now, I recently bought some HRE 441r from a guy who bought it from a member off of here.

    Specs are:
    19x10 et19
    19x11.5 et12
1 finger gap all the way around..I have to relocate the fender-bumper bracket if anyone ever done such thing on an E90..I tried looking at it today and only thing I can think of is zip tying it without the metal bracket ><

Re-gaining interest in the car again, got all my shit fixed, and maintenance up to date. Last thing hopefully is tranny flush and brakes. Been researching about bags for awhile, and may pull the trigger on a kit (I'm using my car as a daily now and why not ride comfortably..) There is so many rock chips on my hood, and clear coat on my repainted fender is peeling, I'm thinking about wrapping the car myself also. So stay tuned!

    UPDATE:

2 pics from Erik Marroquin (He's a great photographer if you're in the DFW area; hit him up!)

Sucks that those Shelby wheels just cracked like that, I remember when you first got them. These new wheels are serious business though. They really give the car a whole different look! I just bought a set of HRE's too and cant wait to put them on

There will always be someone driving something nicer than yours. Just don't park next to that guy!

Haha, they're good stuff. Think I'm going to try to get some gold hardware, and if the funds allow me, maybe some straight-edge lips instead of rolled lips.

I'm not too gravy about the black on black deal..but that'll change soon..Oh no not the wheels, or the color of the wheels

New hre's look pretty bad ass..They look good the way they are, but what color would you paint the centers.
idk, metallic brown would look good i think on your ride. like a sepange bronze or marrakesh brown.

          hi

Hard to believe these wheels are actually becoming vintage now. Those 441s were probably made at least 10 years ago

Pretty sure he was talking about wrapping his car...

Also, this looks incredible man. More people need to live in the world of your "1 finger gap".

Looks sick dude. Get a new lip!

By the way, are you sure about those offsets? I'm pretty sure an 11.5 ET 12 would poke a LOT more than that. Just curious, they look good.
