I actually drove a car with hand controls (working at my old shop, customer was also paralyzed from the waist down) and his controls were way different.

If I remember right above my right knee there was a bar (almost like a big indicator stalk, but slightly lower and straight) and you would push it forward to accelerate and pull it towards you to slow back down. It was super easy to drive.

It was pretty cool.

swap out steering wheel with a motorcycle bar and throttle and hand brake. idk how that would be possible. but do it lol

thanks im glad you like it. But I someday wanna hook up a twist throttle. somehow. But i know nothing about those things and its sounds a bit complicated getting it just right especially with how the trans has a kickdown switch and such.

thanks man. If you know old mercs then you know its not hard to get them low. And as for the dents. My rear quarter has buckled on both sides from the fender rolling so I would fix my fenders before some door dents.
