  • My e32. Now low.

I have had my e32 for a few months and the springs it was on just weren't cutting it. So I decided to cut some coils out and that was a mistake. Then I started looking into coilovers. It was a little bit of work getting them in, but nothing unmanageable. I had to get the strut tubes shortened and for the most part everything else went right in. I drove it to work for the first time today and I couldn't be happier. They are NEX coilovers, 6k/8k spring rates, all the way down in the front and like 2 3/4" of thread left in the rear but still well within preload. Wheels are 18x8.5, 18x10 et5 all around with 215/225 40 NS2 tires. Fenders and rolled and pulled. I am hoping they settle and drop the front down a just slightly, but overall am happy with the look. Plus its a huge bonus that I think I am like the 2nd or 3rd person to do coilovers on this car. Onto a few crappy pics...

Ill get some better ones ASAP. Thanks for checking it out.

Aw really? I was pretty unsure about them when I got them, but I think they fit the car well. They're very "period correct". I just wanted something different. Everyone runs OEM wheels on their BMW's, so I was trying to think outside of the box. I am however on the hunt for something new, and at least 2 piece

Dope stance...so I take it that coilovers is the way to go? I'm hearing more and more that H&R's are not dropping the cars low enough causing unhappiness. I want to do mine right the first time so I guess I'm go with coilovers on my Volvo 940 Wagon

Yes absolutely. It was a TON more work, but totally worth it. Do it right the first time

What tails are those? I normally do not like e32s in any way, but yours is growing on me.

Thanks They are just the clear version of OEM tails. No amber.

i prefer the oem wheels to anything as bmw makes some of the nicest wheels on the market but if you want something different, go for something classier, this car screams class and those wheels scream honda
