'67 Volvo meets Tail of the Dragon

A couple of Volvos drove up to Tail of the Dragon in western NC/eastern TN this weekend. It was a blast and I highly suggest taking that route if you're ever in the area. 318 curves in 11 miles. I should have access to more pictures later.

Traffic wasn't as bad as I expected. LOTS of motorcycles to watch out for though. We went on a Saturday afternoon which is pretty busy. The best times are early in the morning or after 6-7 pm. Night runs are fun but a little scary if you don't know the road. There is almost no traffic at night though. If you go on a weekend then stop by the Deal's Gap gas station after dark. They race 50cc pit bikes and it's a hoot.

I plan to pick up another Volvo to add to my fleet soon and I either want an Amazon like this one or a 240 coupe...hard decision to make.

122s hold their value better but are a little more expensive to maintain. I like 240s and have owned five but they don't do it for me like the Amazon does.
