Progress! Opted for a different material than carpet. Went for a thin foam, the same you would use under a rug to stop it from moving
Once the upholstered false floor is done it'll be perfect!

Some good progress so far...
Built the frame in two pieces so you can easily remove it. First Piece
Second piece:
Mocking up the positions for the tank, compressors, and management (mounted underneath the tank)
Spot for a little cubby. Plan to coil the air tool/drain hose here. Plus works well as a spot for my fire extinguisher
I plan to dynamat underneath and cover the frame with OEM black carpet, False floor will go on top of this and be upholstered to match the interior
