  • A quest to be different... (picture heavy)

Some may have seen this already, but in short:

    My Volvo went from this:

    To this:

    To this:

To how it sits today, like this:

The car does go lower at the front, just with it sitting on grass it was a bit uneven.

The latest wheels are Brabus Mercedes Monoblock II 3 Spokes without centre caps, personally I like them just they're maybe a bit small for my car. The red is plastidipped on so it's not permanent, I have to decide on a colour to paint them before I bother peeling the red off.

    Rate and h a t e please.

      Awesome
Merc wheels look good. Definitely a different appearance.
Not sure on the colour but I dig the exposed centres, looks better than with the caps on

Don't tell me life is so short, what have you done that's longer?

I feel like you could have gone with 40s and they may have fit/look a little better. Other than that I thoroughly enjoy it.

Yeah that's why the colour is just dipped so I can peel it off thinking either black or grey next.. And yes I **** them with the centres tbh lol

I agree, thinking a 195/40 would have been more sensible than 185/35!

Love the BBS's for sure, I feel like the red just kinda downgrades how the car looks? Either way looks crazy though

                            Thanks everyone.

                            So today was eventful anyway..

Was meant to take part in a cruise for cancer along the north coast of Northern Ireland but I had to pull over on my way to the meeting spot before the cruise had even started. Found that the front right tyre was sitting at 8psi and is slowly leaking air...

Decided to quit while I was ahead and go home when the police pulled me for no front plate and too much stretch etc etc. The only good thing was that I was just around the corner from my mates house who I had left my standard wheels with. Luckily I was able to talk myself out of it explaining that I was going to change my wheels and that I had cable ties for my plate at his too.

So decided to roll on standard wheels until I get the leak sorted but discovered running these wheels has done this to my studs

So yeah, all in all it was a fun day and I hope to have everything sorted again for a show next Sunday!

                            I'll keep updating...
