How to pull off chrome!

I went out the other day and shot my buddys GLI and I must say I don't really like chrome but his chrome Rotiform SJCs fit the car perfectly!!

It looks like it's just a roll bar, not a cage. Still. No need. Wheels look pretty sweet though!

I really don't understand how OEM HID's are ugly, but alright. Car looks awesome, everything. Makes me miss my mk4.

Its the color of the car. The silver paint looks great when matched with chrome wheels

I guarantee it doesn't need a cage/bar. Even if it makes a lot of power the chassis and suspension geometry would handle like a wet sandwich when pushed. Even if he has a performance wheel/tire setup and adjusts his suspension for track use. It would still be a fwd mk4 jetta with ugly headlights and handling capabilities and chassis rigidity of a dead fish. If it truly needed a roll bar for having loads of power it would really need a full cage.

does anyone really need -7 degrees of camber m? doubtful but if you think it looks cool you do it . if the guy or girl wants a cage then so what , just sayin

Might as well just put some bricks in the trunk. That bitch better have a full haldex swap and be putting down ungodly power to justify a cage.
