Keeping the KA? any major rust? I would say you made out pretty well for $400. It looks really unmolested which is pretty hard to find for a cheap price these days.

Has a bad starter and the speedo is buried for some reason. but i have another coupe that runs great(also SOHC) but has some body damage.

it's a SOHC so i'd like to either swap in a DOHC or a CA18 or hell an SR if I can find a cheap one. Not really worried about high HP numbers just want a slammed reliable car that I can beat the shit out of at local drift events and possibly DD.

by far the cheapest route to drift that thing is keep the KA24. it makes enough TQ/HP to get the rear end out if you tires and suspension are set up correctly.

i was thinkin about gettin a 240 for a project car and doin like a drag set up on it just b/c everyone around here does the whole drifting thing with them, but u cant go wrong when its stanced right
