Everyone loves a comeback story

Well I introduced myself before but im sure you guys only know the car, Maroon Cobalt with BBS's. Few weeks ago a woman pulled out in front of me and took the joys of my life from me. Car was totaled but I bought it back along with another turboed cobalt to easily swap the parts over including the coilovers,hubs,wheels. Even the intercooler survived. New car was custom painted Grabber Blue and belonged to a good friend of mine. Car needs some work but I think I can get her back to full speed.

Cars not even fully registered yet and 50% of the parts are swapped over.
Was awesome getting the help and support from the car community from all over during this whole ordeal. Its been a bitch.

Yeah it hurt, girl that was with me had to go to the ER but turned out to be a bruised collar bone. Luckily no major injuries and I was able to buy her back and get something out of a shitty situation.

Yea its taking some time to get used to, was a financially sound decision to get it too and im trying to pay off bills and save money to move and get a house. Wasnt sure about the gold faces but it seems to work. Going to miss the other car for sure, it had 0 mechanical issues and always got me to places and held the power that was thought impossible.

With that said, the new chassis looks awesome! I liked the understated classiness of the last color combo, but this is something new and I personally love it. Reminds me of the color of that wild C30 awd concept Volvo built.

Thanks guys, yeah im doing something with the headlights just dont know what yet.Last car had retrofits and you seen what happend there lol $500 in headlights down the drain so im kinda hesitant to do anything real quick.

Nice! Was not really aware that the Cobalt was a car that stanced well. Shame we don't get them down here.
I reckon the gold on blue looks even better than the red.
Crashes, especially on a car that you've poured your soul into, are heartbreaking. It's good to hear you're alright!
