Damn, looking great mane. I need to get pics of my mirabeau blue 2.0t i'm converting to track. Already have the whole track exterior except for wheels.
If anyone wants performance out of the box, get the 3.8. It takes quite a bit of modding to get the 2.0t to be faster than the 3.8. Plus, the stock 2.0t clutch sucks ass on the 10's - 13's.
Why are you trying 17's though? 18's are deemed too small by most people, so won't 17's look even smaller?

i want that shakotan look ! i'm pretty convinced it can be pulled off
some of my test fits, i'm having a bit of clearance issues. going to have to run 9"s in the front instead of 10.5
rear here just needs to be spaced out more
wish i could get the front to work with 10.5, need to modify the tie rod... but even still i have doubts so i'll probably just do 9"s
Just curious how the tie rod is giving you issues up front. I'm just trying to imagine it in my head. lol.
Only gripe I have about the chop you posted is the riveted on flares. Personally, I think this generation has some of the best factory bodylines to roll out of Hyundai's design team, they just flow so well front to back. That's just my personal opinion though. At the end of the day it's your car. Now if you want to massage the stock body a bit to make it wider, that's more what I'm talkin' bout.

hah i know what your saying... i've had flares for months. too scared to cut
This pic should explain the tie rod problem... the ball joint on the tie rod is big, i'm thinking a heim joint might be the solution.... a 9" though i should be able to space out far enough
