It's been a while... Being overseas, touring, work, all that shit. This has been sitting in my garage getting attention whenever it could and now it's finally at a point where I can post it up and start showing people how it's going. Peace VE, what's up VW...
It's no where near finished, as it's gotta get a full respray, replated bars full engine rebuild (2180), yadda yadda yadda. But here's how it sits right now...
'66 VW Type 3 Squareback.
Engine: Original 1600 with 18XXX miles, dual ported heads, twin Webber 36 carbies. That's about it, for now...
Suspension: Punchdrunk 6'' Narrowed T1 Beam no shock towers w/ CB 2.5 drop spindles, adjusters. Down 3 Splines out back, Notched Spring Plates etc.
Wheels/Brakes: 15 x 4.5 & 15 x 5.5 Fuchs w/ Detailed centre caps (Not shown), 145/65 & 175/65 tires. Beetle disc conversion up front with new genuine callipers, lines, pads, and small 5 rotors. Small 5 drum out back with new shoes/cylinders etc.
Interior/Exterior: All original glass, bars, lights etc etc. 80% original Savannah Beige. All original perfect interior except for a Flat 4 GT wheel, Vintage Speed shifter, and a TMI Salt N Pepper carpet kit.
