partial patina & rust has much more character than merely rusting out a sedan for the hell of it. besides, that idea has already been done at least a handful of times; especially on a Mercedes.
instead - keep it running strong, upgrade that oil cooler with something much more proper, & rock the baddest wheels you can find/ create. I've seen this car in person & it's memorable in a positive light just the way it sits.
Actually fabel, I remember the first time WE saw this car. It was right after we first met up at 2011 H20 and we were standing on the sidewalk bullshittin like always. We ceased conversation as we saw this thing roll down the strip, and just looked at each other and nodded.
I honestly think the car looks dope as is.. OP, it's your car, so go with the flow, but damn.. I like it.
Im with you, nick, and fabel. the first time I ever saw this car at wolfsgart my jaw dropped. I adore it just the way it is. I think the wheels could be switched up and revamped, but in terms of the body its staying just the way it is.
It is a tranny cooler, this is basically a daily driver. Its a kompressor, so I was gonna put a small pulley on it, and I like the idea of a welded diff
yes please do it, I've been waiting forever for someone to thrash a w202 with a kompressor. Also I know the getrags are a lil steep in pricing but you could even swap in a regular 5 speed from a 190, they're a lil cheaper

my problem is, that this is supposed to be my daily.. so with a welded diff and more boost, I'm going to take a u-turn in front of a cop, there is going to be a huge crash, resulting in me leaving in cuffs.
