Such an awful loss. This car was the state of the art for the stance movement. But who knows, maybe this will take you to a new uncharted level. Maybe this will be the opening for something even more staggering. Sorry to see it go. I can't wait to see what comes next.

I think the saddest part of this is that I know there are people out there who are going to be ecstatic to see this thing go. No one understood what the car was or what it embodied. They just saw it as some rusted out POS that was a waste of an e28. Not many of them realized that it was a totaled car that had been reborn as something new.
I've loved this car back since it had all its paint. It was the stance that just grabbed me and sucked me in. Once the hood was rusted it immediately earned its place in my heart as one of my favorite cars ever. Being born again after the wreck as Rusty only gave it even more character and lovability. Yeah, it's been done before, but not to the perfection that Rusty had achieved. The purple and turquoise highlights and the lack of doorhandles. Its final rebirth as Jules was inspiring to see that any car can still be a masterpiece whilst undergoing several looks. Yet again, the A-10 teeth had been done, but not with the attention to detail that they had with this car. The KC's gave it that WWII look with the bare metal and Works. Overall it was the attention to detail on this car that really made it a car to talk about.
This car didn't only give you something to look forward to everyday, but even many of us here at SW who followed you over from BF.c. I salute you Rusty, thanks for everything.

I'm not even gonna lie, watching that video got me a little teary-eyed...
Wow... I got to meet Rusty once, at Fixx this past year. I have to say that seeing this car in person really opened my eyes to what the word "Stance" really means. But it wasn't just the stance. Many times you see cars with great stance, but then theres always something lacking, some little thing holding the car back from being pure awesome. Rusty was one of the very few exception to that. Everything on Rusty worked in perfect unison to make him what he was. While I was walking around the car looking everything over, I would keep stopping and looking at some minute little detail and think, "My God, how did someone think of this?" and all those little details flowed seamlessly into the next. All these things come together to make Rusty one very, very special car. One that will be missed by many..
