  • to matt white an e28 or not

    Hello from Australia

So my e28's paint is pretty bad and there’s a bit of rust so as the title goes to matt white?
I've always liked Mr Burroughs e28 that he painted with house paint then ran over with a bull dozer. Just for clarification a picture of said car http://i32.tinypic.com/2s784rb.jpg

    And here she is

Thats what I was leaning towards but was kind of hopping to further ghetto it up, with a little support from the forum I could sway my mind and go budget. The camera is doing the paint to much justice though, it already looks kind of satin and its chipping like crazy I just got the good side .

I think it'd look pretty dope and if the paint is as bad as you say do the damn deal

Why are you hopping to ghetto it up? Just excited? Seems like walking or running would be more efficient then hopping...

Car is super clean looking by the way

Nah just have more spare time and it would be my chance to straighten up the body and kill the rust.
I got this car 2 years ago and I’ve thought about painting it matt white from day 1 and what better time than now.

I'd just leave it and let the paint age..
The house paint is going to look trashy and will be a paint in the REAR taking off if you want to get a legit paint just in the future

Not so sure about brothers Matt or Chipped White.
But i suggest their older brother Faded White, as it is

I’ve decided to go ahead with it just got to wait for the rain to stop and it aint house paint fella's it’ll be spray cans from my local auto parts supplier…
even though it doesn’t recommend use on cars on said can but I’m a person and I’m pretty sure I know more than a can.
It won’t all be super dodgy I will be sanding, bogging, trying to get rid of the rust so the body’s straight… as I can get it being a driveway job

I had a spare panel out the back of my house and thought I'd do a mock up.
This is without filler or me removing the pin stripe just a bit of sand paper and a rattle can.
also here's Matt White asked about fade and chip they thought I was a freaking retard but anyway…
