I love SHO's, yamaha 5 valve heads and a solid 5 speed from a mazda = a great ford haha.
I see a lot of criticism of this car and i'm sorry to add to it but i think its slightly blasphemous to have chevrolet wheels on a ford haha. IMO i'd track down some of the meshes that Lincoln towncars came with in the 90s.
or my personal favorite the ford turbine wheels
Either way keep up the work! I'm in for more of the transformation of this SHO
I agree, it does need some different wheels.. also the crown victora had some really nice mesh wheels with a lip.. and i beleive they were 16s
I'm digging what you're doing. I like the Corvette wheels and think they add some edge to it.
I think people aren't getting it because they aren't sure which direction your going with the car. A majority of the exterior is a clean VIP style black but then you have the frankenstein stitches on your bumper. And the grill just looks like it doesn't fit. Hell I'd rock it without the grill because i feel it draws my eye away from the good the front might have.
I do like it, its just missing something else to set it off. Some cleaning up and small additions would be awesome. I'd say lose the black tail lights, too much black going on. I think some bright red tails would be nice. Maybe a small lip for the trunk and find those sideskirts someone posted to make the sides of the car more even with the bumper and that lip looks nice too.

Definitely got potential, just needs some cleaning up and maybe a different set of wheels, I like the corvette wheels but they don't suit this car really.
You're not the first person to lower a first gen SHO.
The only reason it would be 'first of it's kind', is because it has corvette wheels on it.
Which is not some amazing feat anyhow.
Douche alert.
OP, its a good start. The exterior definitely needs some help(I'm sure this isn't news to you). I love the idea of a stanced SHO though and can't wait to see where you take it!
My buddy had one of these, save the cash from those shitty lense polishes, learnt a trick from a used car salesman, wet sand the fuck out of your lenses then clean and dry off,...clear spray point....sounds retarded but I garentee someone tries it and blows their doubting mind...lasts armrest 6 months here in Canada...good luck
But, since you have the adapters already, I would sell the corvette wheels then find a set of the 16 inch Firebird/trans am meshies. It would give it an aggressive racy touring car type of vibe.
