  • Ford Fiesta MK3 slammed

Me and my friends decided to go about lowering a MK3 fiesta we had lying around the yard. the car was going to be scrapped and said we would give it a good send off before it is scrapped. its a 1.3 sfi standard car with some small rust issues but runs and drives well.

we firstly lowered the car by cutting some coils off the springs but didnt quiet get it low enough so we decided to completely take the springs out just to see how low it can go and it sits only a few inches off the ground now with the wheels tucked inside the arches might raise the back slightly and its sits lower than the front and not a big fan of the reversed rake look.

some future plans are to maybe rust the bonnet and other panels possibly not really sure yet. also in the process of making a side exit straight exhaust and might also get some alloys or banded steel wheels and flare the arches. Opinions and possible ideas on what i could do to the car are more than welcome excuse the poor pictures but i will try and get some proper pictures of it if i can.

Hmmm, well I would be lying if I said this was the first time I've seen someone remove the springs. Looks like this could make a good ratty build. Definitely want to see what can be done with this.

A guy I know in high school did this once to his 80's Celica, I don't remember what generation but it was the boxy FWD ones, he did it , ONCE, car just spun out on the on-ramp, he broke his arm and bunch of bones.

              So please do continue.

yip no springs took them out it is sitting on bump stops dont really care if it blows the struts as i said car isnt going on the road again so i picked looks over ride quality.

drives like a go-kart very stiff and extremely bouncy havent really tested it yet but i wouldnt recommend it for daily driving.

well this car will not be going on the road again so i wont exactly be spining it out or crashing because of having no springs. Its purely for experimenting different things on.

cheers for the comments here are some more pics and have the side exit exhaust on now but might be noticeable from the pictures.
