  • sipa's 4 door dailies: BMW e36 328i + Audi 80

    Greetings from Finland!

I tough that i should introduce my 2 daily drivers. I have 2 cars because the e36 is in too good condition to be used in winter so i got one peace of shit Audi 80 to be my winter car.

Ok but first the e36 and lets start with the picture from 2006 when i got it:

Completely stock 320i and with almost no optional extras. Ugly grey cloth seats and everything

And now it looks a bit different:

    Some specs:

    - Engine, drivetrain and brakes from 328i
    - Exterior parts from M3
    - D2 coilovers
    - Custom made 3pcs BBS RC wheels (originally 2pcs)
    - black leather interior + some ICE

Engine has some minor mods and it's now producing 160 kW = 214 hp (DIN), 217 hp (SAE) For those who don't know the stock numbers are 142 kW = 190 hp (DIN), 193 hp (SAE)

    At dyno:

    And the audi. Starting point:

Not the best looking car in the world, but i saw some potential in it. With minimum budget it now looks like this after two years:

So as you can see it has now 16x9" Boret A rims, matte white paint job and some smaller details. There are no coils or bags. Only shorter springs and shocks. And also the suspension struts are modified to get it lower. Yeah i know! It should be lower but there can be more than 5 inches snow in the ground when i wake up. I have to drive work with this so it would be impossible with lower suspension.

I cutted the original barrels to to 2 pieces to make inner barrels. Then center pieces were machined to cope with separate inner barrels and outer lips. And finally i ordered custom outer lips to complete rims.
