Man, only nominating one car is killing me. I'm trying to be as unbiased as possible. Not gonna nominate someone because I think they're awesome. Or a drift, vip, or BMW build just because it fits my obsessions.

That brings me to Benny's BA2 Prelude

This car was completely built from scratch in 2012 and fully documented in the SW build section. It's a DIY build. Clean. Tasteful. Loaded with character. No crazy deep pockets. Inspired and original IMO.

I had a real tough time choosing one car to nominate. There were cars I like that either have been done for more then a year or that aren't done yet, and there were cars that have already been nominated. I went through the entire past year of build threads on here to make sure I didn't forget anybody even. It came down to Atom's Amazon wagon and Streets Alfa spider, but I think that the car most deserving of COTY is Streets Alfa Romeo spider.

He has done everything to the car himself, from custom bodywork and interior to a built V6 engine swap to the giant CCW's. All documented in his build







And I'm pledging all of these

I would like to nominate Halfdan Vatn Schulz and his e28 touring. He has one of the best builds out there and really love the route he took with this e28! (a very diff and original 28!)

I nominate Jake Looney's purple civic. This car has gone through some serious transformations in the last 2 years, and still remains the lowest static civic I've seen. It's daily driven, and has lots of custom work done in order to go that low, and has much more work coming up.
