i threw the wheels on today before class, im going to have to crank the coils down a bit, it is a huge size difference going from 13 to 15, im still not used to it. ill have fitment pics after class once i mess with it, but hey theyre on now at least right
oh btw theyre Klutch Republik SL1s

i also busted out the heat gun and reblacked my flares, i plan on doing all the trim after class, and giving it a good wash

this thing was $16 and works magic blackening trim
before

and the contrast
the right is done, the left is how faded it was

this should look a whole lot better once i get the coils dialed in

wheel pictures will be either today or tomorrow, im waiting on my extended lugs to get here, the studs i got were way to long for any of the ones pep boys had, and all the rim shops here dont have anything except chrome 24s
i did however get my Mooneyes steering wheel put on

I went with mooneyes because Grant adaptors are really cheap and mooneyes wheels have 3.5 in dish. I was going to go with the wood one they have have but it was back ordered and i wanted to get this in before SOWO. it was really easy to install and the $10 hub came with all the wiring for the horn and what not

I want digging the chrome spokes of the wheel until i threw on my chrome shift knob and now between that and my temp gauge it all kinda flows. ignore the mexican blanket
i also started grinding the rust from my floor pan
i started with the passenger side, which i knew had a hole, but i had forgotten how bad it was. once i get some time i will cut the hole out grind it all down and patch it, but for now i just ground all the surface rust with a wire wheel, up to the point that it became rot, and then painted everything with rust proofing paint, when i cut it out and redo it all, i will use por15

also since i dont have ball seat extended lugs i cant even bolt my old wheels up, so they are just leaning there, my camber game just went full retard

so i got a bit done today, i am kinda pissed because none of the local parts places had extended lugs so i couldnt even put my wheels on, but installed my studs today
it was much easier than i thought it would be
before

plus
equals

i also took some rustoleum and blacked out the inner fender

i also got my tires put on, which was also a pain because everyone refuses to stretch tires, but i am going to save those pics for when you guys can see the whole car together

picked up a "new" head today, the guy said that he had it on his circle track car, it is "cammed and ported" but he doesn't even know how aggressive the cam is, so i will just have to run it to see.
anyways i plan on taking it all apart, cleaning it, checking the valves and lifters out and then running it with a raceland or ebay header and my stock intake, so this will be a project after the whole switch panel/ cut off thing
these are the pics he sent me, i will take some as i clean/ when i get out of class, but it looks cleaner than this in person either way, also everything turns fine and all valves look straight from the little that i saw
