yes I am new, I didnt even know what it was called. I called it spinny smokey things

How am I supposed to drift in a tiny parking lot surrounded by concrete islands and garbage dumpsters? I do know how to drift, granted a 4.5/10 but I have attended some events. Donuts I have never really done I kept wanting to shift into 2nd but it spun the car.
