Call me a *****... but I just think it's funny because its a Cressida. You could pick any random, econo-box from the late 80s/early 90s, get some stance, and it's an internet sensation lol

As a euro guy i get where youre comin from, its a little different look/ feel to it. No idea about OP, but cressidas are not hard to dig up for not much cash, and as far as i know, take very well to 1jz/2jz swaps. Other than that, i see it as a style. Somethin we dont see as much over here

Not alot of people get boners from new beetles either, but you went for it anyway... ya know?

I'm sure OP can elaborate/add, my cressida knowledge is pretty limited.

If you don't like it, that's absolutely fine with me. The car wasn't built to please anyone.

It was built specifically so people can laugh at it, until it blows the doors off said person's car.

Obviously if you've been a Euro person all your life without a care in the world for other cars. You're not going to get it. Simple as that.

Why a Cressida?
That's easy. They're RELIABLE, comfortable, affordable, gangster, four door, rear wheel drive, and finally can be made FAST for CHEAP.

Also, this isn't something "I had" and "got into stance and went for it". I've been into these cars and other old school Toyotas even before I could drive and before the word "stance" became some sort of genre. Another thing, whats up with this "got into stance". People were doing this kind of shit way before it got a label.

And for the record, the stuff I did that would make it "stanced" was done way before the word (I don't even know if you can call it that.) "stanced" came about.

"Stance" in referring to automobiles is how the car sits. Not something "you get into" as you're implying.
