Ok so after a few months of waiting to get back to the states, here is Big Red! I got it for $500 dollars and it was running and driving (he drove the car to me)

Yes, its a manual, however the shifter top is missing, so i cant use reverse (Linkage is gone) PO says if i can bring it to his shop, he'll fix the linkage for me
Soooo heres the long story...
The car runs, and it ran good, but made a whining noise in the rather stiff power steering for about an hour, until i drove it home (refilled the reservoir) however, when i went to start it back up, it wouldnt start. Dead Battery. Damn. So my friend comes over and he gave me a jump. It started and i let it idle for about 5 minutes, and it died again at the end of the street. This time we noticed the ground on the alternator was pretty much unraveled and one strand was touching the screw. So we kinda rigged it so it wasnt as bad, and proceeded to head to OReillly's. Didnt make it. Lost power at a nearby church. So this time we left it there and grabbed the stuff we would need to fix this..
So we went and got some wire and made a makeshift grounding wire, worked out really good, it started up real good this time, i was happy as hell! Drove it to the end of the street, homegirl stalled again. Fuck. It would run good for the first few minutes and then the dash lights would go dim, followed by the headlights and radio being sketchy... And then then, poof no power. I didnt even hear or feel it stall, i just mashed the
clutch, and the power was gone.
Next thing we did was take the battery off and get it fully charged. Turns it this battery was less than half the capacity for a full size car (motorcycle battery) and it wasnt enough to keep the car going, but we were also suspecting the "new" alternator as well.
Well we waited for them to charge the battery, knocked over some shelf on accident (clumsy guy lol) and got the battery back in. It fired up strong. And i proceeded to put air in the tires, more gas, etc and i seafoamed it, and i had to jump start it AGAIN. Made a pretty good smokeshow tho...

Alright so i was driving it toward Auto Zone, kinda in a hurried state bc at this point i knew the battery wasnt gonna last long, but luckily it died while i was doing about 45 MPH down a winding road.. I was happy with that, that was rather polite of Red to do that lol. So we yanked out the battery, took it to auto zone and it was completely dead again. I asked the clerk LADY what size battery it took, and this chick said "The only volvo batteries we have are the $150 platinum ones..!"
Get the FUCK outta here. Lol
So i got one of the 34 series batteries. Did the battery swap... Man oh MAN the dash was reallllly bright and also noticed new lights lit up and it now makes a buzzing noise and it started good! Drove it to auto zone and had them test the alternator and sure enough it was putting out lower current than normal... So yea imma get to that asap..
So thats the story of Big Red, i hope you guys actually read the story!
Also i found these while i was cleaning it
