At first I was like meh but then i saw the battles (which IMO looked the best) and the xxrs, which also look good. Can't wait for the S/C.

lol, yes. but the ucf10 is anything but sporty with OEM powerplant.however, ive sourced an m112 eaton from a very good friend that has an 03' cobra. he just changed to a whipple charger and is letting me get the m112 for dumb cheap. the 1uz is known to be a very stout built 4.0 v8 that can handle around 12 lbs. of boost on oem internals, daily, safely. as for the battles, the tires were pretty cashed in. the xxr's came with brand new continentals on them, lol.

they were gold, it did not look good, esp. with the car being black with charcoal lower trim and chrome accents, it was way too busy. if the car was a solid color, maybe. thats why i painted them to match the lower trim, subtle, yet clean.

    theyre 18x9.5 +25 225/45 front and 18x10.5 +20 245 40 rear. continental contacts.

i too thought the 45 vs. 40 sidewall would look wierd, but as you can see here, its not enough of a difference the eye can catch it, or effect the vehicle.

Doesn't that seem like a downgrade each time you change wheels?

I cant wait for steelies then.
the JIC's were but ugly, missing half theyre labels, curbed to hell, and were atlanta drift wh0res.

as for the battles...its a lexus, not an s14.

dont bag on steelies, theyll get you magazine covers when done properly, but again, this IS a Lexus, not a drift 86.

    and your rolling on........?

i cant depict whether your trying to be a smart ass, or just looking down your nose from your elantra....... it isnt all about name brand to me, as much as it is about appearance. If that was the case i would be sitting on 18x8 work eurolines right now, instead of the xxrs, i chose the xxrs because of their appearance factor on the car. type in VIP ls400 in a google image search, and just in the first row, count how many ls400's are sitting on eurolines.......

and with that, i present this:

better pics to come, these are sheety. got another 1.5" to drop as soon as this freakin rain clears up.
