After moving one of these around at work, I really like them. Sound great, looks smooth, and nice interiors.

Just curious, why does it look like the rear wheels sit so far forward? No **** at all.

I believe thats just the way they sit when slammed. Mason tech used to make plates that fixed it, but idk if they are around anymore.

      this thing is awesome.

          oh a turd on pillows
Hatchbacks, wagons... It's NOT all the same. You want in? Don't get a mazda 3, get a mazda 6 wagon. Don't get a wrx get a legacy wagon. and theres a reason the A3 isn't called the A3 avant... Scion does not make a wagon it makes a weird van, but no wagons

          Sincerely,

P.S. Is your tail a wagon?

          Show cars are lame.

I'm not sure if I'm stating this 100% correctly but it's because of the way the rear suspension is designed. It has a fixed rear beam (as opposed to independent rear suspension) and as you lower the car, the way the suspension travels causes it to pull forward into the wheel well. They sell plates which you can install that eliminates this. It doesn't happen with R32's because they have IRS.

You slammed your MKIV, and dropping the chassis has rolled the tires so far forward in the wheel wells they look like they're hiding. What to do?

nice MKIV though, I've always loved Jazz Blue 20th's, considered buying one multiple times over the last few years.

IDF drop plates are the new fix for the axel issue. They relocate the hub and lower the rear about an inch.
              Car looks sick btw...

The rear plates do locate the axle back but you need to do it before fixing the bags in. Do it after and you'll rip the bags apart.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if he installed those plates surely when the cars lifted the wheel would pretty much be rubbing the rear bumper?
