Agreed, IMO the vdub community doesn't really show much respect towards anyone or anything anymore.

Tanner is a prime example, there are plenty more on here. There was an ae92 thread here that was trolled to death by vw kids.

I remember when the BMW had a reputation for this, but that is long gone and now bimmer owners are some of the nicest people out there, I really wish the VW community would change.

mad panties? i think so. all of my cars are clearly hideous.. however, were built to suit me & really don't/didn't have anything included on them that would unappealing to any person who is into the VW side of the scene. dude's car may be built to suit him, but i think the people who don't favor it highly out numbers the number who do favor it. i thought i was doing pretty well for my age & know how... but hey, you guys obviously know everything about my personality, knowledge, & my cars.. who would've known?

seeing as how all vehicles except the 4door mk2 & the mk4 were all cars i owned in highschool, i really can't see where i'm supposed to be ashamed. i feel as if i had a good start & things are still progressing.

the mk2 is rather amusing. crap paint, not 'herra frush', but is a blast to drive & that's it's purpose. the mk4 is factory with the exception of a frankenturbo/flash/exhaust so i really don't see where shame applies there either.

you don't like vw's, i don't like g35's. all in all, this isn't about the G in general, it's about people who waste their money doing dumb things to their cars. never would i have been harsh at any point if i didn't read this guys previous posts & saw what a douche he is.
