Hey!
Been lurking in the shadows here a bit, but mostly on Facebook. I want to show you my car so I`ll post some pictures of how it is now, and going back to the start.
The car got painted in 2008 (kept the original 181 Diamantswartz metallic)
The M rims got painted white and the car was lowered around 70mm front and 40mm back.
Then I ordered a D2 set for my car, adapted for drifting, but I had to do some modifications since they got to hard when I lowered as much as I wanted.
Then time went and I was ready for something new, so I painted the rims purple (a non-metallic color I mixed myself to match the D2 color) and put on Federal 595 Rs-R tires on them. With these tires, I figured that I should have one more set of rims, (I only drive around 4000km a year) but it`s a good excuse to get new rims, so the hunt started...
I found the M-system rims from the E34 M5 very nice, and esp with the polished edge and "throwing stars" cover, so I gave it a try and the result is as you can see further down.
My future plans are to polish the edges even more, space them out around 5-10mm and maybe lower a bit more. But I live in Norway and the Government is quite strict about car modification (lowering, non-stock rims, xenon etc) and I don`t bother loosing my plates...
And yes, I have a lot of modifications to the drivetrain, bushings etc.
