Castro Motorsport: Polak's E34 Touring Sportin' Some New Shoes

So I've always been a fan of RVAE34's (from bimmerforums) Alpine E34 on 18" AC Schnitzer Type 3s, and since I have a staggered set of 18s myself...I thought I'd switch up the shoes on Olga for a change. :p

Well, I must say I've fallen back in love with my touring!

While I love my satin black, staggered, 18" AC Schnitzer Type 2s, I've always preferred the spoke design of the Type 3! I will be swapping the larger tires over from the Type 2s to my Type 3s, as the ride quality is MUCH worse with the smaller sidewalls! Also, I thinkt the Type 3s look too small with the current tire set-up. :

I love the OEM roof racks on my touring, for some reason the e34 pulls them off so well. I never liked the touring without them, so they're definitely staying!

Well none of them are real, they just have the bumpers and possibly the wheels. The M5 touring was never sold in the states.

That being said, Chris Castro has an E34 M5 touring replica, that is getting a turbo s38b36 in the next few months. My touring is nothing compared to his!

Ya Chris Castro's touring is nuts! The flares turned out awesome, as did the carbon black paint job!

The 3 piece ACS Type 1s are beyond EPIC, so glad I got them for us when I did!

Oh, ya Nigel does A LOT of work with us! I was actually thinking about grabbing that car from him, but I didn't have parking for a 3rd car!

Yup! Took a while, but we figured out a way to get it off, along with the adhesive, without destroying the pain underneath.
