The one I drove 100 miles to look at today had a 6 inch long gouge/dent in the rear quarter panel, and was sold....

I looked at another (520i) in the afternoon but it more expensive, rough and had no history, no thanks.

Now I'm torn between playing the waiting game for a good E34 to come up, or go and look at the E38 740i that's for sale nearby....

I want an e34 soooooo bad. There's one of those damn 6 speed 540i's for sale near me, just kills me to not be able to pick up such a find. I think there were less than 2000 of those things made.

i really want a 525i to daily. i'd love a 540i/6, but theres really no need for a v8. as fun as it would be. plus, the 6 cylinder cars are way cheaper.

That's pretty much why I started looking at em. I'm going out right now to look at a '93 525i with full BMW history, heated leather and a few other bits. Such a lot of car for £750 (about $1200)
