figured I'd drop by with an update. While most people who live in a state that has a winter work on their cars while their parked, all I do is snowboard. Now that the weather is nice, and I moved into my new house, I decided to start working on a few of my projects. The LS needed some paint;
still organizing the garage, but here it is so far;

[QUOTE=Kaiyin;1227302]well, I added the '82 Rabbit to the garage, but the LS is stayingLots of work ahead of me. Right now, it's just waiting for all the parts to be made and get shipped from Japan.
yeah, there's slightly more camber in the rear. I installed the adjustable rear-lower control arms & toe-rods, so the camber was set to -7.5* in the rear. Front is at -6.5* and I have new, adjustable upper control arms for the front waiting to go inAfter the fender work, I'll be adding more camber all around to hopefully tuck the wheels.
Stefan had a few words with me too so I could keep going with the car

Originally posted by Dr.AK View PostDoes it only look like it, or is there more negative camber in the rear? Really pulls it together, imo.
Good to see you're not giving up on this!After the fender work, I'll be adding more camber all around to hopefully tuck the wheels.

OP, Artisan Spirits stuff is RAD! I'm really glad you're sticking with it, because as awesome as your plans and other cars are, I really want to see this thing "completed" and that rear addressed because this has the makings of a sickkkkkk static VIP car. Do the US proud!it will take some time, but I hope that when the car comes back out, it will do a good job of representing VIP here in the US.
as for the BF comment, yes, I do mean BOYFRIENDI am a guy, and I have a boyfriend who shares the same enthusiasm for cars as I do. He picked up a 91 LS400 to start playing with too, and the Miata listed in my signature was actually built for him

What scweet14 said is true, I hit a large, blown out expansion joint on my way back from a car show in Wisconsin which broke two of the bolts that hold the RCA to the bottom of the knuckle resulting in damage similar to breaking a lower ball-joint at 60mph;
I was pretty discouraged and wanting to throw in the towel and waiting for insurance to put the final nail in the coffin after I got the car towed 130 miles back home to have it assessed. While I was waiting, MY BF and a couple of my good buddies told me to stop being a baby and just fix the thing. A friend from Texas hooked me up with some hard-to-find Artisan Spirit fenders, and I sourced a pair of modified front knuckles and new grade-8 hardware for the front. With things settled with the insurance, the car was in the garage getting sorted. Installed modified knuckles on both sides, new grade-8 hardware for the RCAs, fitted the new fenders, and installed the Megan Racing rear-lower-control-arms and rear toe-rods. Fenders haven't been painted yet since I'm waiting on new bumpers and will have to do a full paint-job anyways, but the car might be going to a new owner

I'm really nervous on the spring rate cause i don't want a ride that feels like im on cut springs after spending the money.. just wanted others opinion who are on stiffer springs..
Thanks Jorge
