I'm going to miss this car. At least my love stains are still in the backseat...and front seats...and engine bay...and the Forge lift....and Drews vinyl plotter

was there no way of legalizing it? seems like a waste to ship it back to europe when they paid to ship it here

there's no way to legally. I'm sure theres loop holes similar to what silvia and GT-R owners do, but things like bumpers, glass, headlights, bumpers, emissions etc are not DOT approved and therefore to fully legalize it you would have to bring all those to code. Plus it hasnt been crash tested in the US. It was probably a temporary registration.

I recently heard of some kind of loop hole if the car is registered in costa rica, but i havent looked into the regulations

                That'd be interesting ^

But the story is, is that the Scirocco was brought into the US on a temporary visa for 1 year for development of parts / display for the car. Hence why the car now has to be parted and sent back to the UK...

Anyway I love the cars, wish they were RWD or AWD as the beefy rear end would fit perfectly with a RWD hatch to further differentiate it from a GTI. RWD + that look would make it AMAZING!!!!!

Anyway, I've never really been a fan of this one particular, the ones over in Europe from the Waterwagens vids however are AMAZING!!!!! stanced down to tucking the wheels, and big wide rollers to die for, so nice looking

These are the before shots that I blended together. I can make a pic like this of the other shots if anyone wants.
