the front looks great, but yeah i have to agree on the rear. i remember a black one that had the rear window out of an old ranger pick up that looks pretty good, also it loses points on not having a functional tailgate. an awesome project none the less and the work on it looks high quality.

I think the problem with the rear window set up is how high up and small it is. The portion of metal rising up from the bed is way to big and does not match the width/flow of the pillars and roofline.

Other then the rear window, this thing looks great.

I appreciate the work, but this concept has never appealed to me. Maybe I'm biased, but I feel like E30s aren't long enough cars to be able to have a sizable bed, they just look short to me.

For the window, it probably wouldn't be hard to find a sliding rear window for a Caddy and fit that to it, I can't imagine it would be too wide or tall.

Same, I've never quite understood nor liked the idea of turning cars into pick ups. Nevertheless I'm interested to see it finished.

That truck was sold last year , now my buddy is working on a e36 s52 pick up .
