I would like to state that the fog in these pictures is so thick, that when standing 5-10 feet away you could actually see the fog in between the car and us. That is why some of them look a little funky but I think the fog and my driveway made a good spot for some pictures. Some of these were taken by the OP and some were taken by me, both on my camera. Hope you enjoy, Love your car Nick! Beautiful as always.

Greatness! I'm a bit of a e36 noob, is that an OEM e36 M3 spoiler?

Nice find. I feel if I ever get rid of my style 5s, it'll be for Type As.

Thanks for those extra pics dude.

I need to go roll some more fender and then clean the car and take some better pics.

Who has some tips for me rolling my own fenders?
I've been using a baseball bat and a hair dryer... Jack up the car - get the baseball bat in between the fender/tire - lowering the car a little bit, using leverage and the weight of the car - then rolling the bat back and forth.

the hair dryer wont do ish. i tried it at first. it will never heat up the fender enough to make it easily malleable. get a heat gun. they are 20 bucks and some change at your local hardware store. it looks like your paint is in pretty good shape. its worth it. what i did was drop my coils all the way down. after heating up the fender and flattening the inner lip with a rubber mallet, i took the bat handle and had someone roll the car backwards. as it went back, the handle got pulled up into the fender and rolled it real nice. after a couple of times, it was just enough to clear the tire at full slam(although i wouldnt be that low since it was tucking the actual wheel and i wanted a rake) and still gave a nice flush look without having a bulged fender that would take away from the flushness.

Ahhh... A rubber mallet. Why didn't I think of that! I recently bought one, so thats convenient. I'll check out a few places locally that I think might have a heat gun.

As of yesterday I spent some time rolling the fenders some more. Its a bit better now... but not where I need it. I'll definitely use the rubber mallet and get the inner lip as flat as possible.

My question to the rest of the stance world is - How often does your car rub? When Its rubbing every time I floor it or take a turn above 40 mph I don't feel comfortable driving, at least the way I'd like to.
I bought this car to drive, so when I can't take the back roads because its rubbing, I don't like that.

I think I've come to a realization you can't really have both. I'm at a point where I like how it looks and can still drive pretty hard. If I ever tracked though I'd raise it up quite a bit.

I rub at lower speeds at or near full lock on uneven pavement. I can't make a lot of those angled curb entrances or else it'll shove my front tire into the fender and raise one of my rear wheels off the ground = me stuck. I gotta take those head on which sometimes isn't possible on a busy street.
