Looks really good, lower and larger lips would be absolutely amazing
Yeah, going lower is part of the plan, but the front is giving me all kinds of issues. Right now I'm absolutely as low as the car will go up there: shorter springs, no helpers, removed all but one collar and all the way down. the problem is the shock body is too long and nobody makes one shorter. I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and go with KSPORTs, even though that's something I've been trying to avoid.
I'm not really feeling the BBS's. Maybe because I keep seeing them all the time om VAG's and BMW's. Any wheels you will have it will be hard to beat the look on Meisters. However, I think your Focus is one of the best executed.
Yeah, they're not for everyone. I still greatly prefer the way the Meisters look on the car but I've still got them so there's no problem there, I'm a wheel whore and I typically don't sell wheels as often as I keep them... just ask my roommate, lol. I appreciate the kind words at the end there.
No, i love the RS's I think 2.5" lips up front with 3" lips in the rear would do wonders
Yeah, me too. It's just all but impossible on this car. I could fit a 1" lip in the rear to make those 9s but that's as wide as the car will allow without flares or super stretchy tires. I'd love to do flares, I **** completely exposed lips on wheels though so that's not happening.
Unfortunately Ford graced the Mk1s with almost no room between the hub face and the fender much in the same way you cant fit 10s on a MK1 golf, it's just not possible here.
With that said, earlier in this thread I spoke about eventual plans to flare the rear and that's still possible. If I go that route then the barrels of the rears will stay and all of the extra room will be lips. That also means new Meisters for the rear, and spacers for everything else... this could get pricey. Oh well, part of the fun.

Well, I think its just me in here. Oh well, I'll just keep adding pictures maybe someone will notice.
They are model 316s so the specs are 17x8.5 ET39 normally, although I've got 3mm spacers up front and 5s (soon to be 8s) out back. Sorry for the crappy pics, I'll post up better ones when the ride height is dialed in and the larger spacers are on in the rear.
