If I had a crv project I'd either either go vip or boso. 20x13s lifted fenders and custom aero or 15x15s with flares. Do whatever's necessary to get it lower. But that's just me. Do what looks good to you

IMO, i think the issue is completely with the fenders. Youre not going to get the body low slung and wrapped around the wheels with those awkard, boxy fenders. I would lift them a bit, and maybe use a round plastic fender off something larger (maybe a ford transit?) to keep the fenders looking semi OEM.

Man it needs some refining for sure, and you're aware of that.

That being said, when I was touring around in my (at the risk of sounding redundant) Mom's Cr-V at 16, this is exactly what I wanted to do to it.

In fact, we still have that Cr-V, parked away and forgotten. Can't bring myself to get rid of it.

I stand and clap for you, sir.

have you thought about a different direction entirely. Maybe take a bit of inspiration from the Forester guys. There is a either a lowered CR-V or Rav4 that has a pretty nice bumper guard with a set of Hella 500 series lights locally. Maybe this is a rig to make lower but yet utilatarian.

Exactly. The oem fenders will ALWAYS leave a ton to be desired no matter what

this. although anything i could do with them will look out of place or, in the rear, require a ton of work.
