So my car has been broken for a while. I think it has taken one too many hits. I actually took a 16 hour drive like this! This is the bracket on my chassis that the front sub-frame bolts to. There are a total of 4 of these. Today I found out i had 1 good one. One had all the welds broken, one the metal was cracked half way around, and one had a broken spot weld. I stopped by Limitless Motorsports and had Alex weld them up real quick. It drives a lot better now the my sub-frame is planted

so i ordered some banchwerks 3" drop plates with 2.5 degrees of camber. it allows me to put my beam back to stock position to correct my toe and put pre load back into my suspension. Also my old mason tech great plates pushed my beam back to center the wheels in the wheel well, but when you go too low the beam rubs on the plastic fuel tank. i was always kinda paranoid about that since my frame sparks sometimes and i was imagining a gas leak starting then losing my GTI to flames.

this wasnt a super difficult part to install, but i definitley under estimated the amount of time it would take to install. The brake lines and e-brake cables kinda fight you and they need some adjusting. @JASENR was your e-brake tough to pull after? how did you adjust it?
