There is low, then dumped, then slammed, then hammered, then stupid, then full retard... Fabel is full retard on the stance game. Like Westboro Baptist Church full retard.
Im not going to be the one to knock you man, I drive around with my frame a quarter of an inch off the ground and I have racelands. Not even all the way down and the ride at this height in my opinion, is just as good as any set of 1500 dollar suspension. I do want to go your route and find some strut mounts or something I can use that will allow me to go a little bit lower without sacrificing strut travel before I start hacking them up. As of right now, I have enough room left to lay my rockers/frame on the ground, but I will be all the way down on all four corners and thats how coilovers blow up and no strut travel sucks.
this is completely ridiculous, but i love it so much and its awesome to see all the work you've put in to make it still work when its laying frame. way to set the standard of slammed!!!
to make this roadster function, the guys above are completely right & I truly appreciate the support. it's rough out here for me; hell, the forums are more difficult to navigate through than any of the pebbles I flatten.
anyways, this is my 3rd example as to how my car is built to function rather than worry about it's form.
I originally bought the car with Tein Basics already installed. they went more than low enough, but sold them to get Stance GR+. after a couple of months, I began thinking an inch worth of frame clearance was for the weak, so I sold them.
I picked up a set of new Racelands & had my strut & shock towers notched with these units pictured above. so I went from Teins, to Stance's, to Racelands.
so many people ask me why I would do this & the answer is function is more important than basing your car around a certain look. I was dedicated to laying frame, driving at this height on a daily basis & not listening to conventional thinking. I wanted to bring out certain things that were brewing inside of my mental lair.
Awesome meeting you and hanging with you at sowo dude!!! i have a shit load of pictures of us hanging out, lol favorite one is when we were at the huddlehouse, you nic pro and i, and i had no shirt on
I had a blast hanging out with you at sowo man. Glad to know you're as big of a dick as everyone says you are haha Maybe next time we run into each other we can go do some scraping together. Hurry up and get FABEL back on the road!
Oh, he's coming to SOWO, his miata isn't. Can't fucking wait to see you guys. I told Kamil you motherfuckers are one the main reasons I'm going hahahah <333
this is StanceWorks brah, where to quote: "Low Is A Lifestyle." sorry I've taken that mantra further than probably anyone else. of course, when you're dedicated to frame banging lows, there is sure to be consequences as seen in my slutty slamster of a roadster.
I just get sick of hearing the excuse from people comparing road conditions as the reasons for their fender gap or why they've moved to bag setups. stop faking the funk; stop crying; stop lying to yourselves . . . & start earning your lows!
FABEL for President.
1. I like you, a lot.
2. Youre exactly like me, Ive always just been about being ignorant as all hell. Right now my frame is probably a quarter inch off the ground and i've been telling myself to lower it and you just motivated me.
3. I tell people the same shit. I **** people bitching and complaining about how shitty the roads are, and they sell cars, or buy air. Fuck that. My car slays everything. Its a whole new ball game when you go from avoiding pot holes, to now having to pay attention to how the road pitches. If it breaks it breaks, its all apart of the game.
ME AND CREW ARE DRIVING 2500 MILES TO SOWO, THIS THING BETTER BE THERE SO I CAN FINALLY SEE IT IN PERSON!!!!
oregon to GA, I wanna see this fucker!!
thanks man. a lot. I know your car - goldie locks on diamonds. glad to see you're keeping it fun & wish you great travels along your way. make sure we shake hands at Helendorf.
I've been getting quite a few PM's & posts in regards to seeing this at SOWO this year, but the car's not goin' on any journeys until a bit after the event.
I'm shocked at the support some of you have given me & certainly take it to heart. for those curious, here's the violence happening as I type . . .
so many plans for this thang that I've gotta hash out over the summer, that I will reveal as they progress.
