  • The stable from the past few years

So, i was organizing my flickr last night..or the night before, i can't remember. Anyways, i figured id show you guys some off the wall stuff ive built in the past few years. i know at least two of them aren't even in the US, so a little spicyness to mix it up i guess.
way back in the day i built two of hte most fun cars i have ever had in my life
    first one was a 97 GS-T spyder.
This was back in the show car days, before drifting, before all that bullshit. it was circa 99/2000? back when 2 megapixles was awesome!

Car was the FIRST ever eagle talon converted vert, and the very first Volk GT-U in gunmetal finish in the US.
that car started my car world off. 18 first place wins, tons of best of wins. i loved that car.
then i had this thing, which was an experiment in hondas. got the car for free, so i figured fuck it

did a bunch of stuff, all suspension, and a tune up

back in the brand new days of D2

one and only time i owned rotas...lol
    First off was my 180sx:

    nikko, thanks Dino
    circa Jan 2007

then came the Cedric (legendary in its own right)
    jun1 purchased
    first

    then

    then this happened

ripped my entire exhaust, and rear bumper off becuase of a reflector in th road...yeah, the small ones.
So, i got yelled at for no bumper, so i had to buy aero.

    broke it some more

did an s13 front suspension conversion and swapped to 19" ordens

    reppin

open dump and complete rear arms

love it or **** it. the wing worked. got rid of rear end float at like 140kph
went air nov 23rd finally, 2007

UAS on CST coils (note the s13 suspension)

so, unfortunately. after a botched paintjob on this, and the next posted car by Mike from Idesigns, who i flew out here to paint my shit, they didnt last long after.
BUT this is the final version of hte car, which i miss to this day:
    feb3 2008

    ride height

and thats it for that one
at the same time, i was building a UCF11 for hte wife. bought it stock in dec 1st 2007

    pile o wald

    pink/tan garson type jewel interior

    flake on both cars

no pics after that. i was so unhappy with it, i just threw it in the garbage...literally.
car lived for two months. sad
Nissan Stagea in a few differnet versions

    r33GTR5 speed transplant

    t04e 50 trim
    final version

from feb 2007 (after the cedric was painted) until july or so 2008

    then i got a legacy.
    julyish 2008
twin turbo bg5. lotsa mods. stripped it out, FMIC on it, aero, paint (in my front yard with a gun, turned out better than the other ones and it was my first car), wheels, blah blah blah
turned a laptime as good as an r6 on the track i blew it up at (also only lasted a few months)

    bought it

    then

    then

    then

    the

that car lasted a year. most of the time the wife driving it, until she bought a jeep (next) and i took it back over until i bought a cima

and on to the jeep, short pictures here, cause im sure you dont care

    stable

    day1

    and then

whatever, we had that fora year to (up until a few months ago, it was replaced with an altezza, no pics yet)
so when the subaru blew up, i got a laurel, then a cima. nothing of the laurel, so here are the two

only had the cima for a few months driving it. its for sale now.
so then i got the van...the current project.
    honda stepwgn

    test fitting 8+30s
quickly bought bold world air suspension, and garson 19s

THEN i got spacers, and camber arms and toe arms in teh back....and it got much better

    before

    after
    as it sits now

    full build thread to come.

Just figured id intro myself to you guys, and show you some of my past eye candy. ALOT of long hours, blood, sweat and tears went into these cars. the majority built in my front yard, with a 33gl compressor and my hands. got any questions just ask!

You've had some proper cars! Very nice stable.

The Cedric and the car you built for your wife were shipped to the US and then ruined by the same guy that botched that 350Z bodykit everyone was talking about a few months back, right?

I've seen the time-line of your cars somewhere else just can't remember where...

The current project looks like it's gonna be nuts!

sick cars! I'm pretty sure I already had most of those pics saved on my cpu from years and years ago. lol

not sure how I feel about the current project, but you have kickass style, so I'm sure it will be sweet when its done....... if it lasts that long

not really. he came in 2008 during tokyo auto salon, was supposed to paint two cars, with at least decent paint. turned out two cars in a booth, that was worse than my subaru in my front yard, with no experience.
But, i looked at it as a learning experience. I dont let anyone touch my cars anymore. Now that i can halfass paint, i can actually build every aspect of a car with my own two hands. Audio, body, suspension, engine, i can do it all now. just need more practice on the paint, and im good to go.

Wow, some nice cars you have there. Too bad about the paint job though. Kind of destroys the motivation on the car when something major like that goes wrong.
