  • got rid of the mr2, got a new ride

after trying to sell the mr2 for over the last year i finally had an offer that i wanted to accept. it's not stanced yet but it will be. i also played around with some wheels i had in the basement from my old setup on the mr2, but they aren't going onto the car i want new wheels for the new car.

Yes dude, sick! Nice pick up. I'm so jealous. I want an FD so bad.

Can't wait to see what you do with it. I wouldn't mind seeing it stanced on those volks.. Some skinnier tires + drop + camber... maybe some spacers out back and it would be sitting nice...

the volks wont go on, i have someone that wants to buy them. but i do think i want about the same fitment for the front, but i don't think i'm gonna run a 10 inch wide wheel up there. my thought is either a 9 or 9.5 in the front, offset to give it about the same poke, run a 225 up there, some camber and fender roll and pull. for the rear i'm thinking 10.5 or 11, low offset, deff more poke then the volks gave it in the rear, a 245ish tire with some more camber, fender roll and pull. hopefully i can land a job soon and get suspension, wheels and tires by summer.

awesome car man, but i wish you luck. i'll stick with my [nearly] maintanence free E30.

i almost bought one a few years back. instead i have a 453whp 240sx. i still think the FD would be more fun though.
