Looking back at previous years, i didn't think that this show could get much better, but after all the changes i saw this year i knew that i was all wrong.

When i first heard of the new location i must admit, i was skeptical "a big field" didn't sound too amazing, but my mentality was quickly turned around when i got to the location, even with the rain in the morning.

Last year i remember making a comment on how we should do away with judging to create more of a relaxed atmosphere. OK i know that would be a bit drastic, but i didn't have a lot of better ideas at the time, Miester and the crew came up with an excellent improvement to the way in which the cars would be judged.

Simply put, if you want to be judged come up to the judging stage (given the circumstances, people weren't being docked points for grass), and if you didn't want to be judged you don't have to do anything, just leave your car where it is at and have a good time.

Once the weather cleared up, Mount Si made an appearance, and i was completely sold on the location, it was obvious the WaterWerks crew knew what they were doing when they booked the venue. The food was great, the people were great and as always the pacific northwest came through with beautiful cars.
