  • Bags and not RS'.... MKV content

Not really new to StanceWorks.... just swapped my previous username to match my username everywhere else.....

Haven't posted on here much but lately I have really started to fall in love with some other platforms outside of the VAG community...... As with everyone else I am on somewhat of an E30 kick (hopefully picking one up toward the end of the summer for a daily).

Anywhoozen, I recently got a little love via Just Stance.

Comments and thoughts are welcome (I have since spaced out the fronts a little more). Hopefully I can source some bigger lips over the winter (30 hole lips aren't cheap and they're a PITA to source).

    Thanks for looking

    My personal favorite....

Thanks to Juan at Just Stance and Kevin Kauffman for the pics!!!!!

1st thing...... BBS's are nice and all, but THANK GOD A VW WITHOUT BBS FINALLY! lol

2nd thing....... car looks fresh as hell, seriously clean and aggressive. But for some reason on these coupes id like to see what these guys do all the time is put the wide wheels all around four corners, not always poking rears and sunk fronts

So nice to see something without RS' for once. Freaking getting played out at this point for the most part. - Some people can still pull them off well.

Nice job on a refreshing take of one of those.

There's a handful locally... Two guys have M swaps (S50) and then Bryan's... All red... There's is also a really clean black one in Columbus that really caught my eye.

Glad to hear you got the barrel situation somewhat figured out! That would have driven me nuts to deal with what you had to....

I assume your headed to MWVF late August in Indy?

Wheels look awesome, but tranny stance is what I dislike most about the mkv scene and this is one of the worst offenders I've seen. It takes a lot of work, but this car would be on another level with spacers and camber up front and pulled fenders to tuck in rear.

Know exactly what you mean. There's just not a lot of progression in the VAG world, especially with mk5-6. It's the reason I hardly ever go on vortex and sold my mk2 for an e36. Studying other platforms has motivated me to progress the wife's mkv, too. After working on my e36, we had to have camber at all four corners, pulled fenders all around and way less rake on the mkv. Your mkv could be awesome if you went the same route, IMO.
