                  front springs broke

My 95 M3 front springs broke they were H&R. Im trying to figure out what kind of coilover kit to buy to replace the front and back, but not spend a shit load of money. Does anyone have any sugestions? I can get a coilover kit from a friend called ISC for $500 or a set called raceland for $250. But the raceland are not for the M3. Does anybody know how to make it work or should i get the isc?

Just take the springs out, they're not needed

Have u done an alignment after u lower it?dont know how shitty the roads are in US ,from what ive seen in pics looks like Heaven to me. Come to Romania and u will have a new perspective of what means a worst road.Cheers

As nice as it looks I want to be able to drive my car and not worry about the next bump im going to bottom out on. That and I would like for my suspension geometry to actually be functional.

                          To me function > form.

Also, to any of you saying its not too low: Have you driven in Detroit lately? (Not trying to be an ass, just asking. Those who have will understand)

I know Michigan isnt the only place with bad roads, but I've been other places, trust me. It's bad here. like, unless that Benz in your sig is on air it wouldnt make it out of my driveway let alone a block down my street, level bad.

Besides, even if I lived in the desert with perfect roads and no driveways, it would still go up at close to an inch. I bought this for handling.

To all those concerned only with how low it sits, stay tuned for when I save up and get a winter beater
how many times are you going to cry in your own thread over 'road condition' excuses.

reference Skrapez, or FittedDownLow, or Ollie, or JMS Graphics, or Pavel, or TopazKD, or whoshaun..., or DubMD - no such thing as too low. stop lying to yourself & start rollin' hard by going past grandma safety height.

the op sold the wheels last summer to a friend of mine and raised it up considerably.

i daily drive a e36 at 115mm fender height all winter and live downtown kzoo. just gotta creep the railroad tracks and avoid the 8" deep potholes. no joke, there are atleast 5 different potholes 8" deep on my drive to work right now. scary.
